Iโm the owner of a cocktail bar in Tokyo, and Iโm planning to use Square Team to organize staff shifts. The bar operates from 7:00 PM until 3:00 AM. I have a staff of 10 people.
Our staff members would like to input their availability in the Square Team app as follows: available from 7:00 PM to 3:00 AM between Wednesday to Sunday. However, the Square system displays an error message saying, โAvailabilities cannot overlap.โ I understand the logic behind the error message, but I need a walk around method to match my bar's operation hours.
If we set everyoneโs availability as โavailable all day,โ we can assign them to shifts from 7:00 PM to 3:00 AM, but this means we need to find another way to track each staff's start and end times for each day, which is very inconvenient.
How can we solve this issue? Iโd appreciate any good advice you can provide.
