Repeating Shifts

Repeating Shifts

I would love to see the ability to repeat shifts for individual employees without repeating the whole schedule.

I'm sure there are many companies using Square that have set schedules for their staff.  It would be immensely helpful to be able to set a recurring shift per employee at the minimum or, in an ideal world, to make a weekly schedule recurring through a certain date, with the ability to modify any week in the recurring schedule at will, or to choose a shift occurrence and modify it for all future occurrences.  This is basic calendar stuff.

FYI, I'm fully aware of the ability to copy existing schedules to future weeks, but for someone like me who's staff schedule only changes for pickups or for (rare) staffing changes, copying my schedule week by week and publishing them individually is a monumental waste of time.  Not to mention, every time I publish a weekly schedule, my staff gets pinged with a notification.  It's quite annoying when I head in to publish the next 6 months of shifts (the most I have the patience to do in one sitting).

Saveable and modifiable schedule templates would be another easy option, and the ability to "Publish all currently unpublished shifts" while sending out a single notification would be lovely.

Thank you for posting this Feature Request @flubs997, and for sharing your use case. I have changed the state of this idea to Open so that other Sellers can jump in and share their use case and Like. This will help our product team understand the need for a feature like this to be implemented.

Not being able to set a reoccurring schedule makes no sense...

Such a dealbreaker, I guess I have to move everything to quickbooks, ugh.

This would make scheduling a lot better. For my business, our employees are on a set schedule. Managing the exceptions would be much easier than the current method of copying existing schedules.

Recurring schedule would be great. Even a template would be HUGELY helpful. The ability to have a pre-set schedule that you can fill each week for. Even if you're still posting it from the template. This would be ideal for us at least.

Any update on this? Would be an absolute gamechanger - I'm not sure I can convince my managers to move over to it without this.
