@membersSQ I had a unusual thing happen to me on 11/11/23. I rang up a sale using the Tap to Pay with the customer's CC. She immediately got a notice from her CC company of the transaction. I looked at my phone and the screen to send her a receipt was up and out of habit I sent her a text receipt (her number was already in there). When I went to ring up the next sale. The REVIEW SALE screen was up. It was if the transaction had never taken place.
So her CC had been debited, but the transaction never showed up on my report. So I basically gave away merchandise.
Has anyone else ever had this happen?

If I were you I would try to find the Time of the transaction as close as possible and the call Square Support to have them see what happened. After the transaction I know you said it was like it never happened, did you check your Transactions right away to see if it was there? When something unusal happens to me I write down the time quick or take a mental note of the time to write it down. That way I can look back on my security cameras and see the transacation to prove one went through. I also now have my account setup to send a Digital copy of each transaction to my email. I then have filter setup to hold All transactions. after a month or so I delete the previous months. Then in this case when you pressed send receipt they would have gotten one and so would you.
