Welcome to the Square ecosystem!
CashApp and Square are both owned by Block, Inc. CashApp is the consumer side of things where people get an account and debit card for (usually) personal use. Since it's linked with Square, it is perfectly safe to accept CashApp payments.
The only word of warning: CashApp payments will show as a separate line item in your reporting. It is considered a credit card payment just reported separately. Keep that in mind as you balance your books in your accounting software.
