Re: Exporting Sales

Hey @FelicefromFMK - It sounds like you would like to export your Square Transaction Report to a PDF file, correct?. To do so, you will first need to export the report and save it to your computer or desktop, from here, click > File > Export to > PDF. Every computer is different and may not have the same settings as what I am referring to in the picture below, but if you have the option to convert the CSV file to a PDF you will see this under File.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

Hey there, @808Sweetshack

Welcome back to the Community.

The best way to export your Transactions would be through your Dashboard. Go to Transactions > Export (right corner). This will download your transactions in an excel spreadsheet.

As far as getting it into Quickbooks that could be a little trickier. If you use Quickbooks Online, check out this thread on getting it implemented.

If this doesn't apply, then you will have to reach out to Quickbooks directly on uploading that information into their system.

Please let me know if you have any other questions.

Is there anyway to export this data into a PDF file or an option to do so?

Exporting a PDF report seems rather common practice and should be easy to do. I need the report to be nicely laid out and looking like  a professional, official report for business purposes. I've browsed through the community responses, but couldn't find a clear answer. Can we or can we not export an official, professional looking PDF from the dashboard? If not, what is your best suggestion for setting up this report and getting it to an outside potential business partner without having it look altered for presentation? I appreciate your helpful response.

https://squareup.com/dashboard/sales/reports/sales-summary.

Pick whatever day, week, month, year your want.

This page exports very nicely to PDF from your browser.  This is what I print out if I need to share data with someone who doesn't have access to our Square Dashboard.
