Hello -- I'm evaluating Square Tap to Pay for a client and have a question about functionality. I've searched through the support documents and haven't been able to find a clear answer about this one way or another -- if the answer is RTFM I'd appreciate a link to the FM 🙂
After collecting a payment via tap to pay, I see it's possible to link the transition to a customer account, or enter new customer information.
In addition to collecting standard customer information (name/phone/etc.) my client is interested in adding custom fields to this post-tap-to-pay checkout experience. Does Square support anything like that? Or are we limited to the standard customer fields?

I'm thinking you may want to ask your question in the Developer's Forum. Other than including some info in the Notes field, there's no options setting up additional custom fields however, it's possible someone in the Developer world has some thoughts. Most of the volunteer Community Members here are small business owners who have experience with Square's Apps and Hardware but, when it comes to more technical type questions, they get referred to the Developers world.
