Hello,
I would like to request the ability to create modifier sets that are variation specific. Today modifier sets apply to an item and all its variations. This doesn't work well when the prices of the modifiers vary based on the selected variation. For example:
Item: Sandwich
Variations: Regular, Large
Modifier Set: Sandwich Extras
Modifier Set Modifiers: Add Cheese, Add Avocado
The issue is that the modifier prices will vary based on the selected variation. For example, Add Cheese to a Large Sandwich will cost more than Add Cheese to a Regular Sandwich. If only I could create two modifier sets:
Modifier Set: Regular Sandwich Extras -> Modifiers: Add Cheese $1, Add Avocado $1
Modifier Set: Large Sandwich Extras -> Modifiers: Add Cheese $2, Add Avocado $2
And then be able to configure the first one to only apply when the Regular variation is selected, and the second to when the Large variation is selected. Today to work around this you have to either create two different items, create two modifier sets and deal with having both appear available for selection and training to make sure to select the correct one, or create one modifier set with the same modifiers but with different prices and deal with them all being available and training to make sure the correct ones are selected.
Thank you
