Select the same modifier multiple times

Hi, I found out that there are many people have same request as me since 2018 thread. 

"Feature Request: Support selecting the same modifier more than once from username glenas" there are about 80 comments requesting for this specific update. So I was trying to comment there but it was locked. So here I am staring new thread to request this feature. 

Please make an update regarding modifiers. It won't let me choose same modifier more than once. And I have to calculate the amount and write it down by hand on the receipt to add same modifier more than once. It seems like many Square users need this feature and I don't understand why it has not been updated since 2018. Please make it possible to choose same modifier multiple times. Thanks.

Yes this is so weird. It’s my biggest and only frustration with Square. How something so simple yet ESSENTIAL hasnt been updated yet? Has square abandoned all of us? How complicated can it be to program this option? It doesn’t even need to be linked to inventory, get it together square. We love you but man, we are struggling with this. My employees waste so much time writing notes at the bottom of the orders and we wear gloves so texting is way harder than just tapping buttons.

the solutions that I read about, are not good enough. When we run out of items/modifiers, we have to update a bunch of modifiers. It’s ridiculous. Why do we have technology for? To struggle still? Idk man like I said it’s super frustrating. Please fix this. There must be thousands of businesses needing this. And clover has it (I hate clover)

YES!  Trying to build a beer bucket and allow the customer to choose 5 different beers.  Maybe on 2 different kinds but 5 beers total.  Thought I had it figured out by adding our beers as modifiers and letting the bartender hit the modifier 5 times to add the kind or kinds of beer.  But due to the fact you only allow one charge one time even if the modifier is chosen 5 times, it doesn't work.  Using the plus key to add the modifier more than once doesn't add the price more than once.  Because I have customers that get different multiple kinds, I'm leaving money on the table if I don't figure this out.  I'm pulling my hair out here!  I need my bartender to be able to add a modifier more than once and charge for it each time!  I am obviously a bar & restaurant and have been using square for years but if I could fix this one issue by switching over to another platform, I am sorry square, but I would be gone.  So tired of trying to figure out how to make your idea of how things so go out here work in the real world lol

And before you say, she should be using variations!  Don't, I've tried to figure out that way also and it doesn't either.  Apparently you can only click any square button once and you are done!

Please, please, PLEASE implement this feature.  How are we in 2024 without a feature requested since 2018 that really shouldn't require much coding effort on Squares part to execute?

Second this! We opened a restaurant two months ago, and I was absolutely dumbfounded how this wasn't already a thing. Every other POS system I've ever worked with can do this. We have taco combos and the monstrosity of a modifier list I've made to get around this is horrible.

May 2024, any movement on this? This is a very basic feature that has been built into Clover for years now. I like the ipad hardware, but this is getting ridiculous.
