I would love to see a subtotal line on my checkout screen as I am adding items to the customers order. It would be nice to see the subtotal before the sales tax and fees are added to the total bill.
Thank you for sharing your suggestion. Having a subtotal line displayed on the checkout screen as you add items to a customer's order is indeed a practical feature request. It provides transparency and clarity to both you and your customers, allowing you to see the subtotal before any sales tax or fees are applied.
A real-time subtotal can be very useful for monitoring the total cost of the order as you go along and ensuring accuracy. It's a feature that can streamline the checkout process and enhance the overall user experience.

I use the Square app at pop-up shops and would also like to have SUBTOTALS at checkout before discounts and taxes. I give discounts for customers spending over $150 (after discounts, but before taxes).
100% agree. This is also a legal requirement for all Surcharge Fees to be a separate line item on receipts. Simple thing to do, just get your coders to work.
YES.... we would love to have the POS system show the subtotal at checkout as well. We do promotions many times that allow a free gift with a $75 purchase for example. And that is before taxes, so we would love to have it show the subtotal. Thank you!
