Hey @Dreahscreations. So, Square allows us to link to any external bank account that we wish to transfer our funds to. All we need is the account information and the ability to verify the account as required. Thatโs the easy part.
Having said that, one word of caution. You need to consult with an accountant or a CPA about this before doing it. Hereโs why. Letโs say that something goes wrong on your taxes, or something happens that causes your business legal problems. If that were to happen, then your mother (or whoever) could then be potentially on the hook for something just because her bank account was linked to your business. Doing this opens her bank account to being audited if something bad were to happen. This sort of things causes problems with family and friendships.
Honestly, if you donโt need an external/local bank account, Square gives you the ability to get a debit card on your account (by opening a Square Checking account). You can use that debit card and Square Bill Pay to pay your bills, buy things for your business, etc. That would be the safest route to go. Sure, nothing bad will probably happen. But why take the chance.
If youโre interested in checking out Square Checking and Square Bill Pay, here are a few links. Square has given you the tools to make not needing a brick-and-mortar bank easier, and Iโm pretty sure they will only add more to it in the future. You can even make cash deposits into your Square Checking account at places like Walgreens, Circle K, Family Dollar, Speedway, Dollar General, Kroger, etc.
Good luck!
