Wholesale Customer Accounts functionality

Introducing wholesale customer accounts to streamline order placement on Square Online could significantly enhance functionality. Wholesale clients could easily log in with their credentials, place orders, and have them automatically aligned with their designated payment terms. Imagine a scenario where a bottle shop logs in, makes an order through their customer account, and sees their prearranged 30-day NET payment term seamlessly reflected. This feature would undoubtedly be a game-changer, improving efficiency and the user experience.

Something that may be of interest to you that’s recently launched is Customer Accounts for Square Online. This is a new feature that provides a more personalised buyer experience and helps drive repeat purchases.

When buyers create a customer account, they establish a buyer account with Square that makes it easy to manage their relationship with your online business, including the ability to:

  • Track the status of existing orders
  • Reference past orders and easily reorder their favourites
  • View and edit Square Pay information for a faster checkout experience on future orders

It’s always possible we may expand this feature to tailor to more wholesale specific experiences in the future, but I’d definitely recommend taking a look into Customer Accounts for Square Online in the meantime to see whether it will suit your needs.

Hi @Katie_SQ,  is there a known problem where people who have started their account have difficulty receiving confirmation codes (specifically in Australia).  One of our most loyal (and tech savy) customers can't open their account because a confirmation code is allegedly being sent but is not arriving.
