What is with the different pricing between Weebly and Square?
So I started up my weebly account with the idea that, for the personal plan, I would only have to pay 10-12 dollars a month, but when I started it up it said that the price for the lowest plan is 30 dollars. What's with that? I chose to use weebly because of it's low pricing and this is absolutely unacceptable. Can someone explain the reasoning for this>

Hi OmegaRose26,
Indeed it's a confusing world - I guess the first question is, do you intend to sell online, in person or both? Weebly and Square were both independent companies that basically merged (Square purchased Weebly). Square started as a transaction processing service for brick and mortar businesses and expanded to include online sales. Weebly is an online website hosting service so Square purchased Weebly to provide the online sales service. Instead of getting caught in the middle between the two companies, you may want to just open a Square Account and take advantage of their Free website service for starters. Even if you're not planning to sell anything right now, you can still use Square to setup a basic site (it's based on Weebly's Site Editor) and start selling later. If you go directly through Weebly, at some point you will be prompted replace your Weebly account with a Square account. See Square's FAQs. Square's online prices are here. And yes the lowest plan is $29 a month which includes your Domain Name and other features - assuming you prefer your own Domain. The Free Plan does not include a Domain Name unless you already have one and want to transfer it. Bottom line, your choices depend on your needs - if you plan to get into business or are already a business, Square is a good choice. If you're just looking to create a website for personal use, like a blog or something creative - there are other hosting services that may be a better fit. At least that's my take, perhaps some of the other volunteer Community Members have additional info that can help you out. Most of us are small business owners who use Square's Apps and Hardware.

Hello! I do plan on selling but only Online. I did see that it transferred to a square account instead of just weebly. Thank you so much for explaining this to me, I was kinda panicking. I'm not sure if I'm going to continue using Square for my business due to the price, but again thanks for the help.
