Strange website issue

Hi Everyone - hoping someone here can chime in - Square Support was not super helpful unfortunately when I called.

 

Over the past few weeks, we're seeing a strange issue where customers are able to see everything that is listed in our item library versus just the featured items that we have listed to show on the website.

 

the website for online ordering is:

parlor-city-vegan.square.site

 

When customers first arrive at the site, everything looks good.. only the items we want to show are listed. but after (or if) the customer selects the pickup location (we only have 1) and clicks on "Start Order" the site redirects to another site "https://parlor-city-vegan.square.site/s/order?location=11e9f6c8cd2d3253891d54ab3a4df411" where it lists all the items in our library, and our banner is also gone. 

 

again, this only recently started happening.. is there a setting somewhere that we missed? Support said the only solution is to go through and set everything to be "hidden".. but it has always worked before, and again, when you first arrive at the parlor-city-vegan.square.site page, everything looks good! 

 

Help! We're having to spend a lot of time talking to customers on the phone regarding this issue.

Hi @PCV Thanks for providing your website and a detailed description of your issue! 😊

 

Your site is functioning properly based on your site settings. 🤔Have you made any changes to the store template, or did you have Time Based Categories setup in the past? Can you let us know a couple examples of items that you do not want to show? 

 

For the banner issue, you can add it back by navigating to the site editor, then clicking Order Online from the dropdown in the top left corner. Click on the banner area, then select Customize > Background.
