We are selling online tickets which are a non-taxable item for us but trying to have an online service fee added to the purchase.
The option to automatically apply a service charge is grayed out and not an option in my Square account.
I have tried to create and assign a tax rate of 0% and tie the service fee to that, but it does not appear in the cart.
Our system is set up to automatically add tax to all of our items, so I had to create an exemption for these ticket product to not charge that automatically applied tax.
We do not want to change the price of the ticket to just cover the service fee. We are trying to be transparent with the fee as a governmental entity.

Hello 👋
Thank you for sharing this Help Center article, @Gold!.
I wanted to check in and make sure you were able to add a service fee. If the option is still grayed out, we'd like to take a look into it. Please let me know, @mnorton.
And by the way... Welcome to our Seller Community, we're excited you've joined!
Thank you.
