I accidentally marked an order I had just gotten as “complete” I know I can’t change the order status and that’s fine but I’m freaking out because the balance disappeared from my account now. It’s not in my transfer history or ANYTHING! Not in my bank I can only see the order was paid and “completed” but I can’t find the funds anywhere.
It may be best for you to contact Customer Support as they can look at your account details - no one here can do that. Normally when a transaction is processed, you get an email notification and there's also a record of it in your Account Transaction History. The normal transfer time can take up to 36 hours or 1 to 2 business days (Monday thru Friday) unless the transaction was on the weekend or holiday. You can get funds quicker if you opt for one features. As mentioned, if you're sure you cannot find any record of the transaction, then you need someone from Support to take a look at your account.
If you can see the Transaction was Paid, you should be able to look in your Transactions History for the Day of that sale. Your Balance goes up daily and Resets at the end of the day. Usually because Square then Transfers your money to your bank account. The reason you do not see it in your Bank account is because it is currently a Saturday. Square for sending payments is usually the next day, with exceptions of Holidays and Weekends. So your payment might show up Monday if your Transaction does show up in your Transactions report as being PAID. If this sae was completed and you marked it as a Cash or Other payment type then the Payment would be counted as you already Received the Payment in person. The Transfer History I believe is for Processed Deposits where this one could be Pending till Monday. This forum is basically other Square Businesses using Square to help other businesses which is why we can not see in your account. There are a few moderators here that also help, but they too can not see in your Square account to see how a sale was made or processed etc. The best thing to do is wait till Monday, see if the payment is in your account if you have not located the Transaction or a Deposit Pending for it, call Square Support their number is below in my signature line.
