Is there a way to filter items by date entered or SKU on Square?

The title of this thread has been edited from the original: Inventory entry/management

I am finding the online Items management to be quite cumbersome and quite frustrating. Is there a way to filter for items entered on a given date (i.e., today), or can I sort the items by SKU or something? What am I missing? I uploaded several products using a spreadsheet and now need to add pictures, but I'm having to search individually by sku number.  Help, anyone!

I agree there needs to be sort capabilities across all search criteria. We have a very larger inventory and use categories and vendor filters to get to the product we are searching. We have vendors updated pricing often and its much easier to filter to that vendor and update pricing. Square updated this recently where you can update item or variation pricing, item info, etc. without having to select each individual variation. If your uploading via a spreadsheet, I would include categories and vendor columns so that it gives you additional filtering capabilities.

Thanks for the suggestion. I have posted about this elsewhere... My items are handmade and individual, so there is generally only one of a given product (i.e., no vendor or manufacturer [me]).

I created a Filemaker database with all the fields in the template spreadsheet because entering items on one non-scrolling screen locally is significantly faster (for me) than entering them in the Square interface online. I then export to a spreadsheet which I then upload to square. The beauty of this for me is that I can filter my database by date entered and upload my products in batches according to when they were created. Currently I'm dragging image files into each item individually which is a bit awkward, but it works. I'm hopeful the auto image upload will get refined to better know which images goes to which product.

One particular problem I'm having is that products are, without exception, excluded from Google and Meta channels because of missing information (gender, size, color, age) so I'm having to go back to edit items - thus the genesis of this post. I get the "download errors CSV" file make changes, upload and it updates the products. But the columns in that spreadsheet don't work if I add them to my initial spreadsheet from my database export.

Maybe I'm making things complicated, but I think my method is fairly straightforward and I can't seem to figure out how to get past the Square limitation.
