Is it possible to set up multiple shipping rates for the same item?

I have set up a shipping profile for certain items that I'm offering free shipping for. The free shipping does not include tracking. I want to offer a tracking option by setting up a different shipping rate under the same profile but it does not allow me to set up more than one rate. I tried to set up a new shipping profile instead, but the items were greyed out so I couldn't choose them again. Is it not possible to have more than one shipping rate for the same item? It allows me to set up multiple shipping rates if I do it by order, but not by item. Am I missing something, or is this really how it works?

At this time, your request is a Feature Request. I recommend submitting this to our Square Online Ideate board. This will allow other Sellers to post their use case and "like" your idea. This will help our product team better understand what features they can or should work on in the future.
