How to keep current login email when transferring square site account to new owner?

I just completed a transfer from my a family member to myself for our website ownership. However, I noticed that when we did that we had to update and enter in a new email address.

 

How can we keep the original login email address, rather than using a new email login address?

 

Hope what I'm asking makes sense.

I tried to walk through a couple of different people and 1 of them I could as they were running the basic business no add ons or multiple devices or mobile. Honestly in my opinion to do it right and make sure all of the current information that you want to transfer or any apps especially paid apps can transfer type thing. Call customer service and ask for tech support! They are amazing and believe they will not let you off the phone till you are up and running. Family members or spouses switch business roles or ownership daily that way you can transfer information you want and make sure your bank is ready and connected if not and transferring the email address and updating ownership they can help with and then transfer you to anyone else who might need more information. Good luck!
