How to get code (link) for Square "Store" to embed into my existing web site
Hi! I asked a question about Square Online Checkout earlier and got no answers. But I seriously need to solve this problem, and now my question has evolved to Square Online "Store."
a) I have an existing web site that i maintain thru WordPress. I was able to create code for a Square Online Checkout link, and I was able to put it in my web site so if anyone wanted to give me money, they could. BUT....
b) The Online Checkout Link only apparently does dollar amounts and doesn't let you collect tax or shipping. SO, I created the online 'Store" and I have figured out how to add items to it and so on. BUT I CAN'T FIND OUT HOW TO LINK IT TO MY REGULAR WEB SITE.
Someone I know has been able to create these links to a "store" so that folks can buy art, but he is setting up and running an art fair for many artists right now so I don't want to bother him. But my seeing his links tells me this can be done. He has created an art fair web page (on an existing site hosted by an art show organization), and for some of the artists, when you see a painting you like, you click the link and it takes you to a Square interface where your item can be added to the cart, or whatever they call it. This is key. I want to have people be able to add individual items of my art to their cart and then checkout with tax and shipping. How can I get my 'Store" to create a link to copy, embed etc?
Bottom line: I need that link to a Square "store" - thank you
Thanks.

UPDATE: I have figured out how to create the link, but it is always a separate link for each item sold.....which is fine, but I want a "continue shopping" option. Is there one? For example, if I list 5 paintings for sale and each one has their own link, customers have to buy them ONE at a TIME. I don't want that. I want them to be able to choose each one and ultimately see 5 paintings in their cart, with a grand total for products, tax and shipping for ALL of the items they want to buy. There is no other place where one is required to buy items separately. I am sure there is a solution to this; I just can't see it.

Hey @JenNilesArt-
It's me again! What you're looking for and describing is our Square Online Store. It would allow your customers to view and shop all of your items in one place. By having an online store with Square, you'll already have a checkout link by just sending your customers the link to that item within your site.
It sounds like you have another existing site though, is that true?

Yes, this was resolved. I have a store now! I really like it. Today I called again and talked to another Weebly/Square store guy and he was also as friendly and helpful as the guy yesterday! I am very excited to have this store and run my first test purchase!! (still working on it now) Thanks for all your help!
By the way, yesterday I tried to post a question about Shipping, which is why I ended up calling today, because my post was "Marked as Spam" for who knows what reason. But I don't have the time to contest it. I just called customer service today and got help that way instead. 🙂

SQUARE seems to be one of those online stores that are not very good at serving their members/customers.
I have repeatedly asked for help ... just to hear crickets from them.
I am lost in all this ..... I have a domain name and an existing web site, and all I need is to know where to get the code that I am to embed in that web site, but nobody seems to know where I can get it! Too much extra info on their pages to help a newbie.

HI, I believe the shipping and taxes need to be setup on the Wordpress side to be included in the purchase. Best advice, is to ask on the Wordpress Community Board or search their Support Pages.
