How to create shipment order

The order was place from the site. I can see the Order but when i click "Create Shipping Label" the next page shows this message:

 
No shipment orders yet.
We'll let you know when a shipment is ready to be fulfilled.
 
How do you create a tracking number/Label for order?
 
How do you make sure the customer receive updates throughout their shipment process?

Welcome to the community, and sorry to hear you’re having some trouble with fulfillment.


When viewing the order from your order manager, does the order type reflect as being an order for Shipment? Or does the order type show as Pick-Up, Delivery or Other for example? 


Also, have you checked that fulfillment has been set up against the item that was ordered? If you view the item details from your Online Dashboard under Site Items, and you don’t see the option for fulfillment then it may be an issue with your item type. Non-physical items for example, don’t use standard fulfillment methods, so you won’t see fulfillment options for those item types.

Another thing to check would be your default fulfillment method and default item type. This can be viewed from the Online section of your Dashboard under: Items > Item Preferences


If you’re still having trouble after reviewing these settings, could you share a link to your site and let me know which item or items were purchased? A screenshot of the item details page (like above), would also allow me to take a closer look.
