I'm having a hard time setting up my egift cards. I have everything toggled and enabled, but they are not showing up on my online store. What am I missing? Thank you.

Dropping in with a belated update about the Gift Cards feature + your Square Online website!
Last July, we introduced the ability to sell your Square eGift Cards online by linking directly to your Square gift card purchase page, which automatically embeds Square Gift Cards into your online stores. If you haven’t already enabled gift cards and added them to your site, please follow the directions below:
- Go to your Square Online Overview page > Items > Gift Cards. If you have multiple sites, go to Settings > Gift Cards, then click the button to open your Dashboard.
- Toggle on the switch next to Sell eGift Cards Online, then select Save on the lower right.
- Once done, go to back your Online Overview page > Items > Gift Cards.
- Check the Add link to gift card purchase page to site navigation box.
From your site editor, you can also set up or sync your Square eGift Cards by selecting + Add > Page > Gift Cards from the left hand menu. You’ll then be prompted to sync your existing Square Gift Cards account, or set one up. Learn more about Square Gift Cards in general, or specifically about Square eGift Cards.
Note: eGift cards will not work with custom domains, nor will they with any e-commerce partners or API integrations.

To sell egift cards on your website, head over to your Online Store Dashboard and go to Items > Gift Cards. Check the box to automatically add the link egift card purchase link to your website navigation menu.

I've followed the video to set up but don't ever get a "publish" button. There also is no option from my iPad POS to set up either. How do you get the e-gift card to appear on the website?

This reply was created from merging an existing thread: E-Gift Cards
I tried looking at other threads, but wasn't getting my answer so hopefully someone cal help! I went to Home -> Gift Cards -> eGift cards -> Configure. I turned the toggle on to sell eGift cards online and in store.
When I go to Online -> Items, there isn't an option for giftcards (see attached screenshot). Can someone help me figure out why I can't get my egift cards to show up on my online retail store?

Sounds like you followed the instructions on setting them up --- https://squareup.com/help/us/en/article/6000-square-egift-cards
Try to go back in and untoggle and then toggle it again. Maybe even try setting it up on a different device like your tablet or phone or laptop, something different than you did to initially set it up.
I had to do it a couple of times, before my showed up too. Good luck.

Gift Cards will appear in one of two places within the Square Online portion of your Dashboard, @NFAA.
Can you please try heading here, then looking for the Gift Cards section within Settings in your Square Online Dashboard? (Settings > Gift Cards) Let me know if you don't find what you need here!

Hi, question about Gift Cards -
Am I able to create a separate gift card specifically for something?
I have my gift cards set up for my personal chef weekly meal amounts. I'd also like to set up 1 gift card specifically for personal chef grocery cost amount (such as $100 Grocery gift card). Is this possible?
Also, is there a way to embed my Square Gift Card website link into my business website? Or would I just have to add the link?

Hi there @courtchristy!! I'm afraid restricting gift cards to only be redeemable for certain items/categories is not doable. Square gift cards can be used for any purchase at your biz.
As for the gift card link, If you're site is built using Square's Online Store, check out Isabelle's post on this thread for steps to sell egift cards online.

I am trying to create a "Gift Card" page on my Square Online website, however I get the following error "We're sorry, but something went wrong loading your gift card page. Please go to Dashboard to activate gift cards."
I have set up Gift Cards successfully on the square dashboard - the Sell eGift Cards Online option is enabled and everything is already configured.
I have already tried switching browsers with no luck.

In the Online Store Dashboard, there is a little box you can check to add Gift Cards to your Navigation Bar.
Online Store > Settings > Gift Cards

I own a restaurant and use order online for orders through our website and on-site self-service ordering with a QR code. I would like to promote e-gift cards on our order online site. Is this possible somehow?

Hi, we gifted an e-gift card to a regular customer at our food truck that is going through some stressful health challenges. She would like to use the card through our online store for pickup but the option is not available and she's had to come order in person or by phone. I read elsewhere that for some reason gift cards could not be used for delivery items, but pickup was OK. I need an update on where customers can use:
1. Physical gift cards
2. E-gift cards
I've noticed customers can use marketing discount codes in our online store, so it puzzles me that e-gift cards would not also work.

I think its great when any individual shows empathy and kindness for anyone, especially towards your own customers. ❤️ I'm going to merge you your post with a similar thread. Check out @Valentina 's reply regarding e-gift card acceptance.
With regards to gift card use and online pick up:
Currently at this time this is not an ability, but can be used with electronic and shipped orders only. Check out this support center article for more info on this topic.
While Marketing discount codes work for the online store, they are entirely different than gift cards in general.
