All my POS items are showing online even when I have them checked for not being sold online.

We started off as just using square for our local physical store business. We never had a website or sold online products. Had our enitre store online inventory items created to use ipads at checkout.

 

Last year we created a basic website with square to update our sales, hours etc. never selling products. 

 

This year we have ventured into microgreens and want to sell both the product for daily order and subscription. I added my buy now button to the website page I created for microgreens. When you click it great. it takes you to purchase but only the subscription, I can't get it to add just a one time order but thats not the big problem i have. https://www.peiffersgreenhouse.com/microgreens

 

It's once you get to the microgreens page. Now the new left side menu that says all items. and if they click it can see everything in my POS system. I cannot find anywhere to turn off this menu. https://www.peiffersgreenhouse.com/shop/online-sales/LTXR5LYPCYQR3O7MIVPUDDRB 

 

The only items I have site as site visible are the microgreens but through that link they can see and add anything we sell to cart. Major problem! As NONE of those products are online items. help please. i've sat here all day trying to fix this with no luck.

 

You go to each items (beside microgreens) item page and where says: Where it’s sold

it specifically says, This item will not be sold online. but yet here we are. visible for all to see.

 

I did under site editor find the categories section and delete shop all but it still shows on the micro green page. I hope I explained that well my brain hurts.

Hello @Peiffgh, I understand your frustration with having items show on your site that shouldn't be. I too also got a 404 error when I trying to access your site. I recommend clearing your cache as Candlestore mentioned, but also republishing your site. Once your site is back, if you are still having issues with items showing that shouldn't be there, let's try the following:

 

1) Sign in to your Square Dashboard and click Items & orders > Items > Item library.


2) Select an existing item or create a new one.


3) Under “Where it’s sold,” choose a site visibility setting from the Site visibility dropdown menu.


4) Click Save when finished.

 

If you continue to run into issues I recommend contatcing our Square Online team at 1-855-700-6000, from Monday to Friday, 6 AM - 6 PM, Pacific Time.

Try clearing your Cache on your device then try.  When I click All Items I get a 404 Error  page not found.
