Adding social SHARE buttons for products

I've done some searching on the topic, but the threads are archived. I found one such thread where a Square user in the UK actually had social share buttons on their product pages. Does anyone know how to add this to each product's page? I simply want people (or myself!) to be able to click share on a product and have it post to social media.

Unfortunately, Square doesn't currently offer built-in product share buttons directly within their website editor.

However, there are a couple of workarounds and options you can consider:

1. Utilize Third-Party Social Sharing Tools:

• Common Ninja Social Share Buttons Widget: This platform offers a widget specifically for Square sites that you can customize with various button styles, layouts (horizontal or vertical), and designs. They also offer customization for colors, fonts, spacing, and even the message that gets shared. Common Ninja: (www.commoninja.com)
• ShareThis: This is a popular free tool that provides customizable social sharing buttons you can embed on your website.  It also provides analytics.
• Other Embeddable Widgets: Explore other social sharing widget providers that allow you to generate embed code.

How to use them:

• Most of these services will provide you with a snippet of HTML or JavaScript code.
• You'll need to add this code to your Square Online store. Square allows you to embed code using the Embed Code section in their website editor. You can typically drag and drop this section onto the desired location on your product pages.
• Follow the specific instructions provided by the third-party tool to customize and install the code.

1. Share Product Links Directly:

• While not a button on the product page itself, you can make it easy for customers to copy and paste the product link to share. Ensure the product page URLs are clear and easy to share.
• You could also include text encouraging customers to share and provide the direct link.

This is helpful. I want to add the social share buttons to every product page. How can I edit the default product page template to include these. I cannot imagine having to edit every single product page individually.
