With your Square Online site, you can connect your item library to your Instagram account to enable Instagram Shopping and make your posts shoppable. In this post, we’ll be sharing a few common issues and tips to help you make the most of your Instagram account. If you have any questions, feel free to share them below (along with your Instagram link!)
Before you get started, there are a few requirements that need to be met:
Connecting your Square Online site to Instagram takes only a few steps. From your Square Online Overview page, click Website > Instagram and follow all the steps outlined to connect Square Online to Instagram. Note: You’ll be directed to Facebook to complete the setup process since this is where you will manage your catalogue and Instagram account.
Before you can start tagging your products, your account will need to be approved for Instagram Shopping. The review and approval process is handled entirely by Instagram so we don’t have a way to expedite a review or obtain any details. If you ever need help with your Instagram account itself, check out the Instagram Help Centre for answers to some of the common questions and issues that users have.
Facebook Pixel is a piece of code that will help import your items on Square Online to a catalogue on Instagram so you can access them when creating posts. The pixel will be installed automatically as part of your setup and you’ll need this to make sure you can show off available products.

Just wondering how you can visit the DNS records section on Square to verify your domain?
I've tried multiple times in the 'Site Address' section and then selecting customise but I'm not sure if I'm not able to action any further since I'm using the square site free domain?
Thanks!
Hey @andy17,
I'm not sure to be honest, or if DNS records are even applicable or visible for websites that use the default square.site domain. I will check in with our eCommerce team though and get back to you when I receive an answer.
For more context, where are you being asked to enter this information?
Thank you!
It's from an email Instagram has sent me to verify my website and it's also prompting me to do on my FB Business Manager too.
Apparently, it's a newly introduced thing just within the last recent months
Below is the context of the email Instagram has sent me

Hi, I was wondering if square supported Instagram shop? and if so how do I link the two. Instagram only gives 4 options, shopify, Woocommerce, Big commerce and Magento. Is there any other way to link the two?
Hey @CuriosityJ!
I've moved your post to this thread that has a general overview as well as come links to guides on our Support Centre.
Hope this helps 🙂
From the Square Online Overview page, if I click on "Website", there is no "Instagram" to select.
