Is there a way to remove Shipping from the selection bracket? By removing it I meant to make it disappear completely, so it won't be visible to customers or anyone else as an option to select.


We still have customers that are confused between Delivery and Shipping, and they keep selecting the wrong one all the time.

Ok, there is a bug. To make the Shipping option to actually disappear from your greeting screen (and at checkout), you need to go through each item (in Square Online) and disable the Shipping fulfilment method. For every single item.

To make it faster to detect the items that have the Shipping fulfilment method activated, you need to filter them out by that criteria (click Filter and select Shipping fulfilment option, and it will display every item with Shipping active for it; then you can go through each of those items and disable Shipping).

This actually is not a bug, and expected behavior. In order to make sure shipping isn't listed as an option for your customers, you will need to remove it from each item. However, there is a way to bulk edit your inventory, so you do not have to remove shipping from each item one by one.

The bulk edit solution doesn't work, in pratice, because you can't guess which items have the Shipping method activated and which don't. 

 

And when you select all items (both witb Shipping and without Shipping) the checkbox (when bulk edit) for shipping always shows as deactivated.

 

In order for the shipping checkbox to show activated, you need to ONLY select the items that have shipping activated - items that you don't know which are.

 

Also, if you filter all items by Shipping method, and then select them all for bulk edit, the Shipping checkbox still shows as deactivated. You can onky tick it to activate it in bulk, but you can't deactivate it in bulk.

Also, the expected behaviour you mentioned, I get that, but it doesn't make sense, at least for me, that, if you deactivated shipping in the overall settings to still have shipping active just because some items have it idividually activated.
