Change default display filter on Category pages

Hi,

On our Shop All page, we were able to change the default filter option from 'Featured' to 'Alphabetical (A-Z).' 

How do we do this with Category pages? It shows Featured by default, but we'd like for it to default to items filtered Alphabetically, like the Shop All page. 

I am aware that I can re-arrange the order of the items in a Category to be alphabetical, but that is different from changing the filter on the page to display them that way. 

It can't be that this is an option for one page and not the other?

Hi @JBallantyne 🙂 thanks for posting. 

From your Site Editor > Category page > Item List > Sort and Filter

This should allow you to have the same setting as the Shop All page. 

Let me know if you can see this setting - I'll keep an eye out for your reply.

Hi Breffni,

That option enables the filter bar to appear on Category pages, but doesn't provide me the option of setting (Alphabetical A-Z) as the default filter setting, applied when a visitor clicks that category. That is what I am hoping to accomplish.
