Ability to CHANGE THE COLOUR OF LINKS on your Square Online site.
This is basic functionality. The garish blue colour is ugly and looks amateurish across a well-branded site. Please make this a priority Square. I am gob-smacked to discover that it cant' be done. I can't even use HTML or CSS to override it. That's just crazy!

Hey @SweetRelief!
You can do this already! Simply highlight the link and select a new colour, sometimes it doesn't show in the editor but it always works on the published site!

This doesn't work. It changes the colour of all the text, not just the link.

@SweetRelief You should be able to click on an element in your website editor that contains a link, then the editor will give you options to do this via Link > Click the Colour Box > Edit Site Colours:
You should be able to also do this with buttons, per your other post:
Admittedly these options are not initially super obvious, and I'd even missed the button configuration in my initial reply to your other post. Are you able to see if these methods work?

Hi there Seamus,
Thanks so much for trying to help. Unfortunately that is not what I am requesting here. I know how to change the button/link colours across the site. Although have the time it doesn't even let me choose them saying that most of the colours aren't "able to displayed on my chosen background" even if the background is white.
Also, changing the button colour immediately changes the BUTTON TEXT colour and there is no way to control this. I have WHITE text on my buttons across the site, but as soon as I change a button to this teal colour, the text turns to grey and this looks ugly and lacks visual impact:
I am talking about TEXT links. Sometimes they appear with my site colours but in other areas they are ugly blue and there is no way to edit them.
One example is in the footer. If you have a blue background on your footer, the links can't even be seen.
Here are some examples on my own site:
There is nowhere that they can be changed. I have seen others posting this same issue frequently.
I am a web designer. I usually work with Wordpress, or Shopify and these are options that should be offered as basic functionality and are industry standard. If they aren't available, they should be able to be customised with CSS. Square does not have this available and it's very frustrating.
Don't even get me started on spacing/padding either.
