Square (Weebly) Email Marketing Migration to Square Marketing

I've been using Square Online Email Marketing (Weebly) for a few years. I created a website pop-up offering $5 off their first purchase of over $25 in exchange for their email. When the customer opted in, there was an autoresponder email campaign that sent them a series of emails starting with the coupon code for which they signed up initially.

Now I logged on to Square Online Marketing and it appears to have been disabled including my autoresponder email campaign. A banner on the website says: "Weebly Marketing is no longer available. To continue sending email marketing campaigns, you can sign up for Square Email Marketing. Your customer contacts are stored in Square Customer Directory for an easy transition."

This is not a problem since I already use Square Email Marketing. The problem is that Square Email marketing does not have a feature to create Autoresponder email campaigns in the same way. Under automation, there is a series of specific automations you can sign up for but you cannot create your own.

Is this correct or am I missing something? Creating and using an autoresponder email series is a basic feature of any email marketing product. How are we to use a pop-up on our website without a follow up feature?

I would appreciate any help you can provide.

Thanks

Hi there, @lulietbakery

With Square Marketing and pop-ups, emails are collected and under "Form Submissions".

You also have the ability to send automated campaigns  that do contain coupon codes. Check out this article and let me know if you have any other questions!

Thank you but this doesn't answer my question. I am paying $150/mo for an email marketing product that can't do autoresponder series campaigns. Generic automated campaigns are not the same as an autoresponder series that I can customize to fit my brand. The email marketing product under Weebly had this feature and now it's been disabled. My question is: Is there a plan to add this basic capability to the email marketing product.

Sorry if I sound frustrated but I feel like prices for Square services keep going up and the services keep getting more and more inadequate for us to run a small business.

Hey there @lulietbakery

Our team is in process of migrating Square Online Coupons to Square Marketing. This process is set to complete on March 25th. If after that date you're still missing this feature please let us know, so we can flag it over to our Product team. Sorry for this inconvenience.
