Export Email Marketing to Blog?

Is it possible to export an email newsletter to a blog? I write a newsletter every week using Square Marketing. I would like for the content to live on our website after the newsletter is out. Is there a way to export the content and formatting from the newsletter to a blog? Or is it possible to write the newsletter in another service and then import the formatting and content to Square Marketing? I do not want to copy and paste old newsletters because there is a lot of content and it will take a long time.

Hi @skingquestions. Currently there is only the capability to share an email campaign to Facebook.  And there is no export capability for campaign emails, either.  Now….

I have iOS/iPadOS devices.  If you do, a possible workaround would be to do a full-screen screen shot of your email (assuming you are on your own email list), save it as a PDF somewhere, and then upload that PDF to your web site.  That would retain all of the formatting and such.  If you don’t have one of those devices, you can probably find an app that would take an email and convert it to a PDF to accomplish the same thing.

Otherwise, you do have a good idea.  Since Square already allows us to share campaigns on Facebook, it seems to me that it wouldn’t be a stretch to give us other destinations for the share function.  If you agree and want to, submit a formal feature request to the Square Marketing team.  They will review it and follow-up.  If you decide to do this, copy/paste the link/URL of that request here and I’ll definitely support/upvote it, as well as add my own thoughts.

I hope that helps.

What I do is open the Preview after it was emailed out. Copy that, paste it into a Word file, and save it as a pdf then change it to jpeg. I put that on my website and take it down two days later.

It would be nice if Square would let us create a link to the email. And if we could also send it to Instagram, Pinterest, etc. Instead of just Facebook.

New to Square Marketing and creating newsletters. Curious why you would take down the newsletter from your website 2 days after posted?
