Is this a Prohibited Business

I run a Security Guard Training and Service Company. Recently we were declined for a loan stating that we were in violation of the general terms or POS terms. At the same time square initiated an audit which resulted in nothing occurring but we had to agree that we wouldn’t continue in the sale of firearms. Our company does not engage in the sale of firearms we provide security guard services and training. Is this considered a prohibited business because the terms state nothing about security only that we cannot take part in the sale of firearms, firearms hardware, destructive devices, or ammunition which we do not do.

So please clarify because reading your post you say "Our company does engage in the sale of firearms we provide Unarmed and Armed security guard services and training." then say "Is this considered a prohibited business because the terms state nothing about secuirty only that we cannot take part in the sale of firearms, firearms hardware, destructive devices, or ammunition which we do not do."

So it can't be both.  If it is just security guard training it should be ok, but I'm just a Square user and what Square decides is or is not in violation of the terms is not up to me.  I would email in to show that you are not selling firearms.

That was a typo we do not engage in the sale of firearms, hardware, ammo or destructive devices. We simply provide security guard services. And train security guards.
