Square Invoices App for Windows 10 & 11/MacOS/ChromeOS...
I think it would make many people, including myself, very happy if we didn't have to open up our internet browsers on our laptop to use square services...
I think it would be a great idea if the Square Invoices App for Mobile devices' support was extended to us users who prefer to use a Laptop full-time / as often as possible, rather than having to use our phones to use the Invoices App, or using the web browser dashboard (Which is fine, but sometimes causes me a little headaches lol), by emulating the mobile app to being useful on Laptop / Desktop OS's. It would greatly simplify the screen for quick invoicing / estimating, finding client information, updating knowledge on he price of a sent invoice when working with a customer directly...
Many times (I run a mobile repair business) I have been at my client's location, doing the work for them, and will be asked "Hey what did this all cost me again?", and inevitably, I will not have that information right off the top of my head either... So I go to consult my square dashboard, while using my mobile hotspot, only to see that while square was on another web tab, it either was suspended due to inactivity or I was logged out due to inactivity... Then I have to sit there, waiting on the site to refresh, and for the dashboard login to load, wait for it to accept my Username/Password again, allow it to login, wait for the dashboard to load up, click "Invoices", wait for invoices to load, then click "Invoices" again, find the client I'm working for, select it, wait for the side-bar invoice preview to load, and then finally get the answer I needed, while the customer has been standing there waiting... and waiting For me to finally navigate to their bill to give them the total. If the invoices App were available to PC, all it would take is for me to open the .exe app, use my fingerprint scanner to login (or have it stay logged in as it does on my phone), click the invoices tab, and select the invoice to have the information instantly... or rather, much faster than tabbing through the browser (Which.. lets be honest, we all know how much RAM our most used browsers tend to utilize now.. Makes for a slow browsing experience sometimes.)
I dunno. I'm just a greasy mechanic that uses this service for keeping up with my invoicing and sales. I'm uneducated on what it takes to really achieve the act of emulating to PC. Just think it would really help with increasing productivity for more than myself, I'd hope. 😊
