Edit a Paid Invoice

Can we please be able to edit a paid invoice?

For example, client paid the invoice then changed their time frame for the event.

Now I have no way of changing it on the invoice to verify that i got her change.

It's mess just writing it on the printed invoice, or texting someone who may forget. It just looks unprofessional.

In addition, if invoice is paid and a client want to add more food items or up their guest count. I have to make a totally separate invoice. It could be treated like a deposit and have a balance due.

Yes, absolutely this! Customers change their minds, especially with a service business. Having an invoice un-alterable after it's been paid causes problems that could easily be avoided. Also agree with the unprofessional appearance this places on Square's clients, that we have no way to correct.

As a mobile repair business I need the ability to go back into a Paid invoice and edit the notes ect to be able document what was done during the repair for the customers records. unfortunately as a mobile shop we have to ask for payment upfront as we don't have possession of the customers RV and cant hold it if they are unable to pay.
