Adjust Item Price on Invoice

It would be great to be able to change item prices on invoices. My business is primary in person, but do offer special pricing for wholesale or bulk purchases. I know I could leave the item price as blank, but that's not a great option as I'd have to set the price every time, on every item on every sale. I know I could also make separate items for wholesale, but this also isn't great as it will skew my reporting. Not all wholesale clients get the same discount as well.

I'd like to be able to click the item and change the price. I currently add a discount to manage this, but from an accounting standpoint this is not a great solution. It also throws off discount reporting, making things look like a legitimate discount, when really it's not a discount, per se. 

It would also be more clear and concise for the buyer to see they're being charged properly without having to do the math (many clients miss the discount part).

I too, would like to adjust price in invoices, just as I can do from Square Register. My workflow is similar to others who have made this request. We have a retail business with multiple storefronts that ring up items by barcode. We also have a wholesale team that goes out in the field and uses the invoice feature. Unfortunately, we can not change the price based on bulk amounts on the fly or other special circumstances. The recommended workaround of creating another variation with a variable price does not work for us as we also use Square for inventory control and multiple variations would not be reflected in the inventory at our central warehouse. Please seriously consider this feature in the near future.

This is a big problem for our company too.  The item prices on invoices should be editable just like they are on the square point of sales/and square registers.

Please Square- update this. Allow us the freedom to change the price of items we sale, as we wish.

This is a BIG problem!!!!

We are a brick and mortar retail location (no online) and sell items wholesale as well.  We carry over 400 items and having to duplicate the price of EVERY item with a VARIABLE wholesale price is ridiculous.  Applying a discount to the TOTAL INVOICE price doesn't work as we have different formulas for multiple items.  Leaving the ITEM PRICE blank doesn't work as we process over 100 item sales daily and would require our workers to memorize the pricing for all items.

PLEASE ALLOW US TO CHANGE THE INVOICE PRICE!!!!

I completely agree with the folks above. Not being able to change a price "in-line" is absolutely ridiculous! Every other system allows this, this is a HUGE DRAWBACK and probably a DEAL BREAKER for me. I'm a wholesaler and I invoice for everything! What a complete waste of time! I know this can easily be done because you do it in the Retail POS app!
