I live on the border of two states. Sometimes the tax rates vary depending on what state we did our job in. When creating estimates and invoices, it would be a huge timesaver if there was a tax rate column along with the other columns (qty, price, total price, etc). It would be more helpful to have a tax "rate" as opposed to a tax "dollar amount". That way I can quickly make sure that all items on that invoice/estimate (which can be pages sometimes) have the appropriate tax rate charged. Right now the only way to make sure is to click on each item.
