eCheck memo field is missing
I just created my first eCheck from my checking balance.
I filled the "memo" field with "1st Quarter Payment"
NOTE: The "preview" shows a memo field near the bottom of the check.
When I created the check for printing, there was **NO** memo field.
Instead, the memo was now part of the payee field.
i.e. <First> <MI> <Last> 1st Quarter payment
I am using FireFox 136.x on Linux Mint.
Is anybody else experiencing or seen this issue?
Thanks....
Scott

Hey @ScottyV – Thank you so much for your patience. Are you still experiencing issues?
Could you walk me through the steps you’re taking to create your eCheck?

I have no idea if the issue is still happening.
I (probably) won't be creating another eCheck until July 1st. 😉
As far as the steps taken, I filled in the the dollar amount, filled in the payee.
I filled in the memo field with something that indicated what the eCheck is for.
The "preview" shows the "Memo" field correctly, but, when I printed the check out, the memo field was not there and the text of the memo field was part of the payee field.
Have you tried it?
What was your experience?
Did it print out properly?
I don't recall if there is a simple way to void a generated check, so, I am not willing to go down that path to test it.
And frankly, unless someone tells me that there was a problem and it has been solved, I will just skip filling out the memo field going forward.
Thanks...
Scott

Thanks for the update. I don’t have a demo of Square Checking available, but if you’re able to share a photo of what you’re seeing, that would help me better assist you @ScottyV.
