Why is this still pending?
My buddy invoiced me on paypal i used my square debit card and hours later its still pending and he hasnt received but my balance is gone and I can't do anything about it. I either need that canceled or processed. I would have never done this if it wasn't instant??? It's a debit card....HELP!!!

Hi @jjax5. This is a PayPal issue, not a Square issue. The only invoice payments that PayPal posts immediately to the seller’s account are those paid via other PayPal accounts with a verified payment type. Otherwise, PayPal shows all other payment types as pending, subject to normal interbank verification and payment delays. PayPal will resolve this normally within a few BUSINESS days. I believe, but can’t guarantee, that if your Square debit card had been linked to your payroll account, and verified by PayPal before you made the transaction the payment would have probably instantly posted to your buddy’s account. Regardless, whatever delay is going on is in the hands of PayPal. There is nothing you can do but wait.
