So in the past we've always been able to update appointments that were made and prepaid for by clients on our end on PC/Browser, and suddenly we're not able to. For example:
Say a client books a appointment/service and prepays. They then call and tell us they want to update to a different service, add another service, or change the provider. We could go in and easily change those options or even the amount of time by editing their appointment. Now everything is blocked out. Our only option is to cancel and have them rebook the appointment.
As of now we're only able to change the time and date of the appointment, but no other details, not even blocking extra time!(which you can do on the app oddly) I'm hoping this is an error, as this will not work for our business.
Searching through settings I'm not seeing any new permissions or switches that would change this. I also am STILL ABLE TO CHANGE/ADJUST previously booked appointments this way, just not on any that were booked today 2/12/25. This fact leads me to believe it's something that's been changed on Square's end.
Any help would be appreciated.

I confirmed with our Appointments team that these appointments should now be editable again. Yes, this had changed, but as of yesterday, a fix was rolled out to restore the ability to make edits.
If you're still having trouble, try reloading the page before making any changes.

Thanks for being a member of the Community.
Can you confirm if this is happening for all team members or just certain ones? If it’s only affecting some, it might be worth verifying that they have the "Configure Appointment Settings" permission enabled in Team Permissions.

This is on the main account, with Full Access under permissions. I checked under other accounts just out of curiosity and ensured that was checked and same result. This is a new development and nothing has changed on our end, obviously something has changed on the back end. How would I go about escalating this to a dev?

Not yet unfortunately. Support has absolutely no answers, definitely losing hope it'll ever get fixed. 😞
