Square for Child Care

We have been using square for about 13 years now, with all of the updates and integrations we have been able to figure out some work arounds to utilize it for growth for our business. However, we are in a place where major growth is happening but we are being constrained with workarounds to grow the business.

I have called and written tons of emails about connecting with square developers to improve a logical sequence process for childcare, especially because I have been around for years and remember writing emails about things and then you DID fix them. Some of those things helped tremendously, like being able to book more than one appointment per day.

I would love to speak to someone who can review our website and see what we are doing with square and what improvements/feedback we could provide to catapult our business and the platform itself. I know they have square retail, restaurant and construction but it would be nice if you had one for schools and there's some tweaking that could happen to make it efficient!

@BusyBodies What is your main task you are trying to accomplish and/or what is the biggest pain point you are having right now with square?

Pain points:

replicating contracts for all locations in a template form that can be connected and edited for any location

booking multiple siblings in one checkout screen on appointments without it incorrectly calculating the time as we have the slots available but we are open 9 hours a day

being able to hit duplicate on items for all locations but then being allowed to adjust the pricing in each location so that it’s correct for the area/region it’s in

being able to run reports on customers that show their spending for the year and not their life time of spending. For yearly taxes we need to tell each customer how much they spent on childcare appointment bookings and it does not let you filter by the year

lots of other small tweaks I’d suggest too
