Bear with me, this is very specific:
Firstly:
Our service hours are: M-F 8:30-5.
Our first appointment is at 8:30 AM, and has a service time for 50 minutes.
What we want to accomplish:
9:00 AM (ends 9:50 AM) 1st appointment (50) mins
9:30 AM (ends 10:20 AM) 2nd appointment (50) mins
10:20-10:30 blocked
10:30 AM (ends 11:20 AM) 1st appointment (50) mins
11:00 AM (ends 11:50 AM) 2nd appointment (50) mins
11:50-12:00 PM blocked
etc
etc
As you can see, the appointments overlap on the half hour, while there is a 10 minute gap until the next "pair" of appointments.
Any ideas on how to accomplish this? We've tried the double booking (process time). It is currently set as: Initial/5mins Processing/40 Final/5 mins.
HOWEVER: This currently allows clients to book at 9, 9:30, AND 10:00 etc etc etc.
Goals: Trying to avoid manually adjusting or booking. "Staggering effect"

I think there are multiple things here that have to be tackled. I am not sure if I have the solution, but I can recommend some things to try.
For:
9:00 AM (ends 9:50 AM) 1st appointment (50) mins
10:30 AM (ends 11:20 AM) 1st appointment (50) mins
What you may want to try is offer 50 minute appointments and setup a buffer of 40 minutes for all appointments. That way the client can book a 50 minute appointment, and no one can book until an hour and half later.
As for the staggered starts:
You may be able to accomplish this by setting up different "Service Providers." One service provider's hours would start at 9:00am, and the other at 9:30am. That way you could create that staggered system.
The question is how you would display those "service providers" on Square Online. Are the services done in different rooms? Perhaps you could name the service providers "Room 1" and "Room 2."
