QOL request: Cancellation Fees as percentage

Hi, Square Community!

 

We're having a hard time perusing our long service list, fine tuning prices as best as we can, and then, like Santa, checking the list twice to change the Cancellation Fee again and again... it's a hassle!

 

Square Developers, can we have the option to put a percentage in Cancellation Fees (based on the final price)? I.e., for a $65 service price, putting %20 in Cancellation Fee text box would give us and the client a $13 cancellation fee...

 

OR is there a way to do it??

Hi @BlanStyles.  “Rant” read.  There is no way to do this currently.  While Square engineers do sometimes read the posts here, and the moderators do send things their way, Square has provided an Ideate Board here where you should go a formally submit your idea as a feature request.  Head over there and post to the Appointments Team.  They will review it and decide if it is something they want to put on the product roadmap for the future.
