Editing Appointments Disabled

Hello,

 

Within the last 2 days (posting 2/13/2025), I noticed a change to Square Appointments that prohibits me (owner/manager) from making adjustments to appointments after the appointment is created. These limitations include: changing the appointment type, adding an appointment, changing the service provider, and adjusting the appointment total.

 

This is highly frustrating because these types of adjustments are made to appointments several times a day. Right now the only solution I have for adjusting appointments is to cancel the appointment and recreate with the correct settings.

 

Again, this was never an issue before. The issue seems to be an update that was made within the last 24-48 hours. Please help or advise on how to make the adjustments.

That is super frustrating. Are working from the desktop dashboard? I just tried to replicate your issue and did not have a problem editing, for example, the type of appointment.

It would have to have been an appointment made by a client within the last two days from the booking site to replicate the issue. 

 

But yes I'm having the same issue here. If a client books from our site, and prepays, I then cannot edit anything but the date and time of their appointment. I can however still adjust appointments that were made before this started two days ago.

Type a product name
