Hello! We are not to the point yet where we want to charge every client a deposit or require card info from every client. BUT what we do want to know, is there a way that has went over our heads to automatically prompt clients who have required no-show appointments on their file, a deposit or card information to be entered to secure an appointment? If not, what's the best way to go about making a suggestion for such ability to be enabled? We want to make booking as seamless as possible and the entering of card information presents some hurdles for us we just aren't willing to work with, yet. But the no shows we have had are forcing our hand to figure something out to at least reduce the chance of repeat offenders from wasting time slots.
Thanks for any advice!
Hi @MintPiercing. Currently, card-on-file requirements are either required for everyone or no one. There is no way to selectively require card-on-file on an individual customer basis. This means that all you can do is head over to the Ideate Board and submit a feature request to the Appointments Team. This will get the ball rolling on an evaluation and eventually you will be notified of a decision if the team wants to add this to their future product roadmap. But, for now, your only workaround is to require pre-payment for all customers who book online.
