Can’t add real service prices in IDR (Indonesia) — blocked over 1M?

Hi community 👋

 

I’m setting up Square for a tattoo studio we’re opening in Bali, Indonesia, and I’m running into a pricing issue.

I created the account with Indonesia as the business location, but every time I try to add service prices in Indonesian Rupiah (IDR) — for example, 1,000,000 IDR (which is about $60) — the system doesn’t let me save the service. It seems to bug or reject the amount.

 

This is a problem because most of our services range between 850K and 5M IDR, which is completely normal here.

 

Is this a known issue for Indonesia-based sellers?

Has anyone else run into this? Would love some help or a workaround.

Will you be using Square to track your sales only, but not as a payment processor? 

As @Donnie-M mentioned, payment processing is not available in Indonesia, unfortunately. But you can still use our software to keep track of your sales. 

 

We do not have a price limit per item, but there are character limits in some fields when creating an item.

@Danicreators unless I am wrong, I don't think you can use square point of sale services inside Indonesia.  It is not on the list of approved countries.
