Appointments app VS Square grey app

We are new to this. I have been practicing and I am confused about the 2 apps. First I downloaded the grey app. Then I got a pop up telling me " We have combined the appointment app". I then downloaded it- but both apps still show. Can I get rid of the grey app and just have the green appointments app?

Hello @Willowjack207 thanks for reaching out, I am happy to help! The grey app is our general Point-of-Sale app and the green app is Square Appointments. Square Appointments is our booking software that allows you and your customers to seamlessly book with your business. You do not have to utilize both, you can delete the grey point of sale app. I know it can be overwhelming when you first begin using Square so please let me know if you have any other questions! 😊
