How to I get my inventory to sync with Wix? Please don't tell me I have to manually toggle on every product in order for it to sync with Wix.
Hi @sacredheart926. So, you have an existing Wix website? If so, there is an app that Wix has placed in the Square App Marketplace to integrate with our Square accounts. Click here to go there.
Keep in mind that Wix developed and maintains this app. Third-party app developers are entirely responsible for how they choose to integrate and access Square data. All questions about how Wix chooses to sync with Square need to be directed to Wix.
My experience with this wix "app" is that it just takes me to my wix dashboard... and there are no Square made apps in the Wix app store.
What would be great is if someone at Square knew about what they were advertising and could point to a helpful resource.
Otherwise I think this is just a false promise/advertisement... I've been in endless Support Chat loops with 0 answers.

I find the square pos and the wix online store integrate fairly easily. I've got about 4000 items in the actual retail store, and I probably only show about 750 on the website (we are a very local business). I do all of my inventory on the backend of the POS system and don't try to update when I'm working on the website. One thing I've learned is don't try to make things visible or invisible, or make changes in two different spots, either work within wix or use the square backend site. Hopes this helps.

My problem is no one can help me to get them talking in the first place. When I reach out to square, they say ask wix...
Wix says this isn't a thing unless you pay for another 3rd party service.
So I love all you said... but HOW did you get them sync'd?
I'm only using square pos, square email, and square website (wix). Three things you have probably already checked out. 1) Make sure your web store is turned on. This is found in the sq backend, items, scroll down to "where it's sold". 2) Is this a reporting issue or is it an inventory issue? If it is reporting find that in sq backend, items, "reporting categories" 3) Do you have item tracking turned on? Sq backend, scroll down, "tracking"
Finally if all of those are correct, have wix log in and figure it out. I've found they usually get it right.
PS: square is a bit clunky I tried to attach a pic to this, but it wants to jump through hoops. Also I tried to type this, at around 6am on my phone, it let me go all the way to the end then when I hit reply it asked me for my password, like I have that and the other 5000 passwords memorized at 6am.
I too had a nightmare with this, noone tells you how! in the end swapped website over to Square as couldnt get a sync to work. Square website no where near as user friendly as Wix for behind the scenes but does sync with everything well.
