PHOTOS
Add photos this is important as the first imagery will be from four square, Tripadvisor, yell.com, yelp or imagery you might not know even existed.
The bot is very picky about imagery in this section. It likes your product to be clear. It does not like stage light or photographs that are too rendered, filtered, boosted, trademarks or with people in.
We have left the description blank too as the Bot picks up on words like “cheaper” “affordable” you can add up to 100 photos.
I tried a bulk upload of 20 and it didn’t like it as some photos were not accepted after the review - which takes a long time if you do it this way. I added 10 in the end, each individually and in the order I thought they would appear in - The bot places the photographs in the order it thinks is relevant - not you It also chose to use a wedding venue photograph as the outside of my building - so I deleted the image and it (BOT) chose a bouquet as the image which appears when you ask Siri on maps
It took 24 hours for mine to appear properly -
If you have an app link the URL
Add your TEAM.
then you can move on to showcases - These are like mini adverts that you can plan ahead with actions - like free delivery - half price - buy one get one free.
You are all set.
Points to note.
For some reason my imagery kept disappearing. Then I was prompted to log back into my iCloud account. After this had been done all the imagery and my showcase was approved.
You should all be set to go!
Work around to add edited photographs to your business
Open maps
Type your location
Click add photographs
Add the edited photographs to your ,apps listing - these can be filtered, using stage light etc.
They appear at the end when someone else views your apple listing.
I hope this helps
This is what your showcase looks like on maps
TOP TIP you can't edit typos once they are approved.... should be on not in
