Using Square/Weebly Website with the DoorDash option

Hi, we been on Square POS, the Square Website, and DoorDash for about 10 months. I was hoping someone else has already solved this problem.

When we get an order from the normal DoorDash system (i.e.: complete order & money processed, through the DoorDash eReader) we get over notified on that order! It's great, wish I had more of these. The notifications are, the eReader will start buzzing, then bells, the screen goes all wild till you pick up the order. Then if you miss all these order signs, they start calling you every min. It's great for a retail store like us that isn't typically just sitting at a desk.

When we get an order off our Square/Weebly ecommerce site and the customer chooses local delivery we get a lonely email - just one. Our chances of the staff seeing this in a timely manner are slim. In fact, I turned off the local delivery because of this.

So, the question is: Is there a way route the square ecommerce order through the "actual" DoorDash system? Or is there a way, like an app notification of an incoming ecommerce email?

We are using MS Outlook (not exchange) for our email. I have set up a dedicated email address for local deliveries.

Thanks in advance,

Hi @dpeterson101 , I'm a product manager for Square's Order Manager where you can see and manage orders within Square's POS. I understand how an email is not the best way to get your attention that you've received a delivery order, so how would you prefer to be notified through the Order Manager?

Hi Aaron, Thanks for reaching out. Ultimately since we are already using DoorDash and the Square POS we would love to see the order come through the DoorDash eReader service or maybe the current Square POS starts ringing when a web order arrives. However, both of those sound down the road.

In the meantime, it would be nice if the web order is hitting multiple text and emails of all the ee's. (There are only 5 of us). So maybe we could enter multiple email and text addresses for these orders.

A little further down the line it would be even better, if the order triggered an autodial to the stores main phone line. Everyone answers the store's phone.
