Request for Bulk Editing Delete on Square Dashboard

I saw that we can now bulk edit items in our dashboard and I'm so happy about that! It really makes it simpler to be able to do smaller tasks. I've been recently making edits via importing, but sometimes the edit doesn't require all that, but is more involved and tedious going into each item. I would like to make a recommendation of allowing for a bulk delete though!

I looked and couldn't see any option for that. So, currently it seems like I would still have to go through each item on my square dashboard and delete. I was hoping I could click on all the items I wanted to delete at once and just bulk edit delete. Please make that an option!

I am able to bulk edit on the square dashboard, but it may be a feature for Retail plus subscribers? I can't edit quantities that way, but I can edit other attributes like description, GTIN, SKU, category. For bulk quantity adjustments, I've just been doing it by importing and exporting, hope that helps some!

Yes!! I was doing some work on inventory control for year end closeouts last night and bulk edit delete would have made removing items we no longer plan to carry sooooo much faster. Going in first to zero out quantity for items moving into the clearance bin and then back to delete the item was a long process.

I would love a bulk archive option. I prefer not to completely delete items (I like have the history to view, and sometimes items make a comeback or are seasonal--so we only carry them for a part of the year). Being able to archive inactive items would make year-end inventory a lot easier.

Yes! This is a great suggestion! I would love to see this option as well. We have over 7000 items, and I'm always trying to whittle it down if we sell out, but I hate deleting because I do lose the history. It would be great to archive it and then bring it back in case I do bring the item back in for sale!

I need to bulk, delete my entire library and start over, it’s very frustrating having to go through thousands of items one by one, to delete it square needs to fix please!

I was very frustrated, trying to accomplish the same thing. The solution that I came up with was to export your item library into an XLS file, and then from that file delete all but one item, then import that file with only one item on it, making sure to replace the library, not adding to it, and then delete that one item. This worked for me!
