Last week we received the first wholesale request for our Christmas product catalogue. Luckily we have been preparing for Christmas since Easter.
Different businesses will have different demands when it comes to the festive season. For some it may be a quieter time of the year, for others Christmas trading can unbelievably busy making or breaking their year.
Is it ever too early to start preparing?
When do you start?
What do you do to prepare yourself?
We started our Christmas designs in January. Do you know how hard it is to think about Christmas in January? We have to start our designs that early because we have to get our product in the production line in April. We have already received some RTS Christmas now and we will start displaying it and selling it at the beginning of our Summer/Fall fair season that starts in July.
Any more no it isn't! SMH I am not kidding Sunday I had a customer ask when I thought I would be getting Christmas out and around 👀 I said I would like to at least get through 4th of July before I started to order for it. The new vendor section is planning for the day after Labor Day. When the big box does I told them that you better jump on it. It comes sooner and sooner each year.
It’s Christmas every day
Thank you, I feel the same way. To each their own is my motto. I thought about it in a different way a couple of years ago when a customer said she starts right after Labor Day and I said Wow that's kinda early. She said she suffers from depression and just the bright lights and all the colors and trees up everywhere make her feel better. If you put your lights up and trees make you happy and you enjoy it, go for it! Life is too short and if that's all it takes I told her to leave them up all year and decorate them for each Holiday then. We could use more joy and happiness than being miserable or depressed.
Hey lovely have you set a question yet ! Is this considered a reply if you reply to this?
