Can you have more than one business on a single Square Retail account?

Square Retail is $60/month Per location, I get that. But what if you run 2 different businesses from the same location? Can you have 2 businesses on a single retail account?

Reason being is that with the cost per month being higher than most other POS companies, it would be cheaper to go with a competitor than if I have to pay $120/month for the 2 businesses I run out the same brick and mortar store.

I do have 2 Square accounts for the 2 iPads I have in store and that works fine, but wanted to step up to a more robust POS system without shelling out a lot of money in monthly fees especially when your already gaining off of credit card fees.

I wanted to be able to use a cash drawer and receipt printer because a basic Square account does not allow you to do this.

I want to make sure I'm understanding the question and your business type fully.

So you run two separate businesses on one account currently? You'd have to separate those into two different accounts if so as you can only run one business per account with our Terms of Service.

No. I have 2 different businesses in the  same building. I have separate Square accounts for them. What I am trying to find out is if I got the Square for Retail account which costs $60/month, can you operate 2 businesses off of it.

I can do this in Quickbooks as multi-company for just $70/month. If I cannot do it in Square for Retail, why would I pay $120/month for 2 accounts when I can save $50/month?

Jumping in here for @ashc. 

If you wanted to operate 2 businesses using one Square for Retail subscription, you would have to operate both businesses under one Square account, and one location. This would be confusing if the items differ, and if you want to track sales per business. 

Just as we charge per location, we charge per Square account. While the pricing may not be ideal for your business, it does come with a free Team Management subscription ($35 per month, per location) and it's own swipe, dip, or tap processing fee of  2.5% + 10¢ per transaction. Please let me know if you have any questions about pricing or what comes with the subscription.
